Five Rib


Five Rib is an economical five ribbed trapezoidal profile that has an attractive appearance that is suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial buildings.

Five Rib is a cost effective alternative to other types of domestic roofing, offering clean straight lines and minimal laps. It is also a cost effective option when used as a commercial or industrial roof.

Five Rib clear matching profile sheeting is available in a variety of specifications. Minimum pitch should be no less than 3 degrees.

Base Materials
Five Rib is available in zinc coated and pre-painted steel in .40g and 55g (base metal thickness) and plain and pre-painted Aluminium .70g and .90g

Fasteners
Steeltite 12gx55mm and Timbertite 12gx65mm, Class 4 fixings compatible with the material being fitted. Class 4 Coasters 75mm.
Provision should be made for thermal expansion.

Foot Traffic
Foot traffic up the roof should be in the pan of the profile. Foot traffic across the roof should be on the purlins.


Durability
All materials should be checked for their compatibility and their warranties as to the suitability in the environment to which they will be exposed. Warranties must comply with the maintenance recommendations as set down by the material.

Only qualified approved roof installers should be used on your contract.
